2D area time series

I am trying to compare two different scenarios withing HEC-RAS 5.0. I have a specific area that I have the inundation area for, however I would like to get a time series of “Flooded Area” vs. “time” for both scenarios.

Right now I have different raster files I have to export reprocess to get this done. Is there an easier way to do this in within HEC-RAS ?

You could use the hdf files and some python to automate some of the process, but there is not a way to do it in RAS

can we get the measurement of inundation area from a 1d-2d coupled hec ras directly? or is there any other way? When I tried using the export depth layer in ‘Manage Map Results” tab, I’m getting the message “map not created. Hence unable to know. Thanks in advance.
