This is my first run at RAS 5.0 and it has been a life changing experience! However, I am having an issue with continuity at a 1D/2D connection point… When viewing tabular outputs all of the flow is transferred, but in RAS mapper a lot of the overbank flow is not showing up in adjacent downstream cells. There is plenty of depth in the overbank areas of the cross section upstream (about 1.5 ft on average) and I’ve tried adjusting the tolerances on the 1D/2D tab in the computation window along with varying the mesh size. Has anyone experienced this or something similar?

    Here is a screen shot:

    Thanks ahead of time!

Does the station/elevation data from the cross section match the terrain data? From RAS Mapper, you can draw a line on the terrain and then plot it in profile. Does this match what the cross section looks like?

Thank you for your reply… The data does match. It may be worth noting that the cross sections were cut in GeoRAS using the same terrain file, but I double checked to be sure they matched.
