I’m building a linked 1D-2D model, which has been running okay albeit with some minor errors (<0.01).

I made some minor changes to 1D bridge geometry and am now receiving the message below. I can view 2D results in Mapper, but not any 1D results (hence, 'no data for post processing'). What is strange is that it states ‘simulation went unstable’ at the very start of the run, however, it only gives this message once the entire simulation has completed(!) I am using a copy of the previous plan, with the only change being the geometry file.

Has anyone experienced this/can suggest solutions? Thanks!

Have you adjusted the HTAB parameters for the 1D cross-sections?

No – I just raised the DS low chord of bridge 1 by ~0.3m, plus moved the ineffective flow areas a similar distance horizontally. At bridge 2, the structures and bounding XS were incorrectly skewed, so I had to correct that.

I eventually managed to get the model to run by raising the DS low chord only at Bridge 1. Am going to make the rest of the changes one by one, though, this is obviously becomes a time consuming method…
